Death Star Cookie Jar for the Ultimate Star Wars Fan

Updated on March 25, 2013

In search of the Death Star

I like Star Wars, and I like cookies. Getting a Death Star cookie jar seemed like a logical next step. I did track one down. The problem was, they can be darn hard to find nowadays. If you too are looking for your own kitchen sized version of the Death Star, you may have to pay a bit more than you expected for it, but they can be found (sometimes).

The Star Wars Death Star Cookie Jar

The Death Star is Up for Bidding! How much is the ultimate weapon in cookie technology worth to you??? Clicking on the images will take you to more detailed descriptions of each offering.

Death Star Straight Ahead!

I won't play games and keep you in suspense, after much searching, and many false leads, the ONLY place I found the Death Star cookie jar actually available and for sale was on eBay. Obviously, some people did manage to get their hands on these much coveted kitchen countertop pieces when they were available. Now, if you want one of these, you've got to suck it up and pay what the market will bear. That's the collectibles game though. If it makes you feel better, there's probably a decent chance that your investment will increase in value. I don't imagine that the Star Wars collectibles market is going to suddenly dry up. If anything, I'd guess that Disney's new involvement will result in even more renewed interest in the future.

I've been watching for a while now, and these things come and go on eBay. If there are any available, they'll be showing right here. If you happen to find them back in stock anywhere, feel free to leave a comment about it below!

More Death Star Collectibles - If you couldn't get the cookie jar

Maybe the Death Star cookie jar was a bit out of reach. Never fear. There are plenty of other Star Wars collectibles out there. True, they aren't the cookie jar, but you'll get over that eventually. Just kidding. The cookie jar is for seriously hardcore fans only. I imagine it would make a great present for one of the guys on The Big Bang Theory.

Star Wars Themed Cookie Jars - Star Wars Cookie Jars That Are NOT the Death Star

If you are looking for Star Wars gift ideas, there are some very nice novelty cookie jars available. Most don't cost anywhere near what the Death Star cookie jar sells for (thankfully).
